Be assured that the information that PHISO needs you to share in this form will be treated with confidentiality and utilized for lawful purposes of the organization. For your expeditious accomplishment of this form estimated at a range of 5-10 minutes, please ensure a ready access to the following:
1. Scanned copy/screenshot of your proof of payment of membership dues
Standard Membership: all who have earned an undergraduate degree (800 PHP or 20 USD for non-Filipinos)
Student Membership: all who have yet to earn an undergraduate degree (500 PHP or 15 USD for non-Filipinos)
Important: Expect to pay service charges over and above the membership dues. Payment deficiency will hinder the expeditious issuance of the certificate of membership. For further details about the modes of payment click here.
2. Scanned copy of 1 valid ID (professional or university ID)
Note: This facilitates validation of the accuracy of the membership dues paid by the prospective or renewing member.
3. Shareable link to your profile
Note: ORCID is preferred (see guide by clicking here) unless you already have an existing electronic profile elsewhere such as in a personal website or account in Academia, LinkedIn, Research Gate, or if you have uploaded your updated CV in cloud storage with shareable link (for file-sharing guide, see Google Drive or Dropbox).

Everyone is invited to become a member of PHISO, whether you are a historian, philosopher, sociologist, practitioner, or in any fields of social/physical sciences, humanities, and religion. As long as you are interested in the study and/or practice of the “International,” globality, decoloniality, relationality, among others, you are warmly welcome to join the association. With your active membership to PHISO you help materialize the activities of the organization and support the development of ‘Philippine IR’ literature and advancement of scholarly works on Global South IR.

Types of Membership include:
Standard Membership: This is designed to all who have earned an undergraduate degree. The rate is 800 PHP (or 20 USD for foreign applicants) annually.
Student Membership: This is designed to all who have yet to earn an undergraduate degree. The rate is 500 PHP (or 15 USD for foreign applicants) annually.
Lifetime Membership: This is accorded to the first batch of members who fully helped and established the organization, selected former members of the executive committee, and invited honorable members of the advisory board.
Regardless of date of payment, annual cycle of membership starts on November 01 and ends on October 31 the following year. This cycle coincides with the biennial international conference and biennial international workshop of PHISO which happens every first week of November.
Please take note that before paying your membership fee, you have to fill out the Google Membership Form below. For bank-to-bank transfer (Metrobank, instaPay, PESONet, coins.ph, or GCash), the payer must pay all ‘bank transfer’ charges, while for PayPal (www.paypal.me/PHISO), 300 PHP (6 USD) must be added for PayPal charges. TransferWise will automatically deduct a small charge during the transaction.
Methods of Payment:

To offset surcharges, additional PH₱300 (or US$6) for PayPal payments, if selected. If TransferWise is used, a small charge will automatically be deducted during the transaction and PHISO will receive the exact amount. Additional bank charges, if any, must be paid by the participant if bank-to-bank transfer is used, including instaPay, PESONet, and GCash surcharge.
