The School of Languages and Social Sciences is an ambitious, expanding, multidisciplinary School with an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. As part of our distinctive commitment to the study of Politics and International Relations, we are currently seeking to appoint a full Professorship from 1 September 2016. Applications are invited from outstanding scholars in any area of the discipline, although the ability to complement the existing focus of the subject group will be an advantage.
Providing leadership to both the Politics and International Relations subject group and School more broadly, you will guide and encourage a talented team and play a key role in the expansion and enhancement of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, as well as research.
You will have a strong international research profile, proven ability to secure external research grants, and a track record of research supervision as well as sustained excellence in teaching.
