PhISO at the ISA Asia Pacific Conference
The Philippine International Studies Organization participated at the recently concluded International Studies Association (ISA) Asia Pacific conference on 25-27 June 2016 at the City University of Hong Kong. Two PhISO roundtables were presented: (1) Philippine IR, and (2) Networks in Asia.
It is our pleasure to meet Dean Julio C. Teehankee (DLSU), Prof. Dr. Renato De Castro (DLSU), Prof. Dr. Eric Vincent C. Batalla (DLSU), Prof. Dr. Mark R. Thompson (CUHK), and Ms. Jacquelyn Garrido (UP MIS student). We thank Ms. Garrido for participating in our roundtables.
We thank Prof. Dr. Renato De Castro for his valuable insights on territorial disputes on South China Sea and advise on Philippine IR.
We are very thankful to the Southeast Asia Research Centre (SEARC) of City University of Hong Kong for the generous conference grants.
