For all proposals:
Complete the ‘Author Proposal Form (APF)’ here by selecting the type of your publication and providing your full name, university or institutional affiliation(s), email address, title (1 to 25 words only), abstract (170 to 250 words only), and your biographical academic statement (50 to 100 words only). The overall citation style is available at http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/home.html
After completing the APF, please wait for the editor to review and respond to your initial proposal whether s/he accepted it and wished to receive the full proposal by emailing the word (.doc or .docx) file to publications@phiso.org in order to proceed for the external review processing.
For proposals for the International Relations Anatomy (IRA) journal:
Length of journal articles including footnotes and references is minimum of 7000 words and maximum of 9000 words. Beyond 9000 or less than 7000 is not acceptable. Articles must be in 12 font size, Times New Roman, double space, and with page numbers. Please put your name on a separate paper (i.e., a title page) and not on the first page of your article because it will undergo a double-blind peer review.
For proposals for the PhISO Edited Books:
Length of journal articles including footnotes and references is minimum of 7000 words and maximum of 8000 words. Beyond 8000 or less than 7000 is not acceptable. Articles must be in 12 font size, Times New Roman, double space, and with page numbers. Please put your name on a separate paper (i.e., a title page) and not on the first page of your article because it will undergo a double-blind peer review.
For proposals for the College Textbooks:
Length of essays excluding footnotes and references is minimum of 1000 words and maximum of 2000 words. Beyond 2000 or less than 1000 is not acceptable. Each IR theory and its subtitles will have its own respective author. Full articles must be in 12 font size, Times New Roman, double space, and with page numbers. Please put your name on a separate paper (i.e., a title page) and not on the first page of your article because it will undergo a double-blind peer review.
For proposals for the Student e-Journal:
Length of articles excluding footnotes and references is minimum of 2500 words and maximum of 3500 words. Beyond 3500 or less than 2500 is not acceptable. Articles must be in 12 font size, Times New Roman, double space, and with page numbers. Please put your name on a separate paper (i.e., a title page) and not on the first page of your article because it will undergo a double-blind peer review.
For proposals for the PhISO-FNPFP Commentary:
One commentary/analysis that constitutes a minimum of 750 words and maximum of 1000 words regarding issues on Philippine Foreign Policy.
