Teaching (45%)
The successful candidate for each post will be expected to provide five weekly hours per year, i.e. 140 hours total of Bachelor and Master level courses and seminars in the respective domain of the post. Additionally, he/she will be expected to supervise students’ work, notably Master theses. In principle, courses will be delivered in French.
Research (50%)
The selected candidates will develop research studies in their field of specialisation. They will actively participate in the development of scientific and institutional activities in the “Centre d’histoire internationale et d’études politiques de la mondialisation” (CRHIM).
Administrative responsibilities (5%)
In accordance with the legal system and the requirements of the collegial structure, the successful candidates agree to assume administrative tasks considered to be in the framework of their functions by the Institute and the Faculty.
Each post requires a PhD in Political Science or equivalent. The degree holder should be experienced in teaching in an academic setting with recognised and certified studies in international relations, in particular: International Security, International Political Economics, Environmental Politics or Globalisation. Knowledge of qualitative or documentary methodology is desired. The mastery of English and French is required.
